Our Parish is to become an Archdeaconry Headquarter. At the recently
concluded 3rd Session of the 3rd Synod of
the Diocese of Lagos West, the Lord Bishop pronounced the creation
of new Archdeaconries within the Diocese. One of such Archdeaconries
is the Opebi Archdeaconry to be headquartered at the Anglican Church
of the Ascension, Opebi, Ikeja.
Administrators for the new Archdeaconries are expected to be named
by 1st January 2009, when the new Archdeaconries will
start functioning. |
